Mohwa tender fruit: expecting very low yields in this season, because of low yield of Mohwa Flower. Season starts from first week of June



Bird trapping a traditional practice

Traditional way of bird trapping. Mr. Dummiri. Ramisetti of Ramannapalem village demonstrating the process sustainable hunting practice. This trap called as Paazu and bird called as "POORODU". He keep one bird [flys very rare] in the cage and arrange trap around the cage in a selected place of forest. The bird kept in cage make sounds to call other fellow birds which will come and fall in trap. Mr. Dummiri. Ramisetti says he will trap 2,3 birds a day when ever he go for hunting. Now a days the young generation using poison to kill the birds in huge number. I am sad to mention here that quite a number of variety birds are disappearing in the same area I am living from 50 years.
