Mr. S. Subhani worked in Girijana Seema Welfare Association from 198to 1992 Duringhis service in Girijana Seema he completed his B.A. Degree  and M.A. Post graduatio in Public Administratio apart from attendinthe typewriting Higher exams of both ENGLSIH AND TELUGU ansucceeded. He  joine a Typis an go promote accordin t his commitmen as Office Secretary Executiv Secretary  and Trainin in charge.

He had close working contacts with sister organization  Girijana PrajalSangham.   ChaitanyShravanthi Vishak Girijan Prajal ChaitanySangam–Polavaram and other groups initiated bSanghatitha (Network) and Sri. V. B. Chandrasekharan During 1992 he worked sometime with DrPSivaramakrishna oSAKTI and initiated Vana Samrkshna Samithi undejoin Fores Managemen in  Kannaigude as a  firs VS in Khammam District At the same time he worked aChief Project Administrator in Agricultural anSocial Development Society (A.S.D.S), Rekhapally anfacilitate the VSSs trainin programme in afforestation Health  anEnvironment Awareness campaign.

Mr. Subhani conducted   numbe o training   programmes   o HumaResource Development for the team leaders of Aranyika ( A network oNGO workin in tribal  areas of Easter Ghats and  Sanghatitha  another groups Attended a Noof training programmes like Para Legal aid, projiect foumulation        and       management,             watershed         managementInternational  workshop  on Assessmen methodologie of NTFP in JFetc; He  haconducted a study on  Impact of Felling on Regeneration oBamboo(Dendrocalamus Strictus) in the Eastern Ghats.

BACKGROUND OF THE AREA

Chinturu Mandal head quarters is situated at a distance of 170 Kms, from district Headquarters.  The Mandal is surrounded with natural boundaries on Eastern side with Alimeru Vagu, Western side with Katukapalli Vagu, on Northern side with Two State Borders of Chattiesghad and Orissa with their Natural Divisions of Sabari and Sileru Rivers which joins each other at Tri-junction states borders and on southern side with Mallethota Vagu.

GEOGRAPHICAL AREA & POPULATION:The Geographical area of this Mandal is 80,600 Sq. Hectors (236057A/C) and most of the area is covered by Reserve Forest to an extent of 66,347 Sq. Hectors (207321 Acrs) (82.31%).
There are 89 Revenue Village inclusive of (10) Deserted Villages in this Mandal covering with 15 Gram Panchayats. The total population of the Mandal is 40,725 as per the Census 2011 covering 10,925 house-holds.  Out of this 19,899 Male Population, 20,826 Female population. and  the Population is Tribal Commumity of 31239 S.C, -1326 and Others – 8160. as per the census 2011

The literate people in this Mandal is 15720 and rest comprises illiterate: All the Villages of this Mandal are notified as Scheduled Area.  Most of the area is conversed by forest, hills.  The primitive Tribal Groups Hill Reddies are residing on hill top Villages of Eruvada, Uppenapalli Gattu, Chadalavada and Sukumamidi Villages.
AGRICULATURE AND IRRIGATION: The normal Rainfall in Chinturu Mandal is 1314 MM.  There are no major irrigation sources in this Mandal except Mallethota  Tank in acrs. 542.  Kolthuru tank in Acr.108, Sukumamidi Checkdam in acrs.125  with the estimated Ayacut is 775 Acres.  During the Kharif year 2013-14 is cultivated. 233 Hects.  There are small irrigation tanks with an estimated ayacut of 40 to 50 acres and at kummuru, Pega Main crop is Paddy, and other crops are Jowar, with occasional cultivation of Black Gram, Greengram, Redgram, Seasumum and Chilies.           

There are 33 lift Irrigation Schemes on Sabari, Sokileru and Chandravanka Rivers in pega, Kalleru, Chatti, Veerapuram, Kuyuguru, A.G.Koderu, Mukunuru, Maduguru, Lakkavaram.  Guduru, Tulasipaka, Kannaigudem and Kansuluru Villages.  Almost all the Lift Irrigation Schemes are not functioning at present.

MEDICAL: There are 2 P.H.Cs functioning in this Mandal at Yedugurallapalli and Tulasipaka, besides One Tribal Govt.  Hospitals at Chinturu mandal hqrs catering the needs of the population.  One more Clinic “ Seva Bharathi” running specially for Hill Reddies in Chintoor Mandal. In this Mandal.  Nearly 22 members are ANMs working and 3 members Doctors.

VETERINARY: (2) Veterinary sub Centersi at Edugurallapalli, Lakkaravaram, Dispenssary rural live stock units :- 2 (Chintoor  Mothugudem) are functioning in this Mandal.


EDUCATION:There are 2 Junior Colleges in Chintoor mandal.  One is APRJC and another is Govt.Junior College Two RBCs one at Chatti and another one at Edugurallapalli are existing specially for Chatthisghad children.  And Giri Pragathi reback school at Errampeta for boys.  The following are the Schools existing Chintoor mandal.
