Bamboo Sheath Cup Making

Bamboo sheath cup making training cum production in Sirasanapalli Technology transformation centre. These sheaths are so far not used by any community for any purpose. And these sheaths will remain unused in forest and burn in summer. The technology used here is collection of sheaths in season and process of making cup with machine designed to make paper cups. We used one side lamination paper to extend the purity and durability of sheath [Bamboo leaf] cup. This programme is supported by SEED Division, Department Science and Technology, Government of India.

Cotton produced by tribal farmers are for sale in project area Telangana. The cost varies from Rs.3,800/- to Rs.3,500/- per Tone. 

WOODEN FENCING destroying forest species

Wooden fencing around the house made with a particular species "KODISA" logs,which is strong and will stay up to 10 years. But owner says that he spent Rs.12,000/-. Looking very smart, but we are not happy, because it needs to fell more trees.

School in Geddamadugu village

A school in Gaddamadugu village, where there is no Government school. Villages built this thatched roof shed for school children and Volunteer is paid by friends like us. We are appealing to government to sanction at least one volunteer for the school.

PALMYRAH FIBRE EXTRACTION-INNOVATION IN THE AREA:  Training on Palmyrah fronds collection and Fibre extraction with Palm Fibre Seperator machine held in Sirasanapalli and Tulasipakala villages from 24th to 29th November,2015 (6 days). Three master trainers 1. Mr. Buraiah, 2. Nageswar rao and 3. Venkanna of Budarada village in Korukonda mandal, E.G. District organised the training. 26 couples from Tribal community of two villages undergone the training and now they capable of extracting Palmyrah Fibre with the machine of Palm Fibre Separator. We hope this activity will help the villagers to get employment in their own villages and with resources available (going waste) and raise income sources.
